CONTEST RULES "CONTEST WUNDERBAR"

WIN A PARTICIPATION AS A MUSICIAN OR SINGER IN THE OFFICIAL EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP SONG OF THE RED DEVILS

These regulations determine the rules regarding the participation conditions and modalities for an online competition.

The RBFA, in collaboration with ING, organised this competition for all fans of the Red Devils with singing talent or born musicians.

To participate in this competition, simply register via the form available on the “WUNDERBAR-BAND.BE” website and upload an audition video in which you demonstrate your talent.

The winners of this competition will together form the “band” and “choir” that will perform the official European Championship song of the Red Devils and participate in the “live” recording in the ING ARENA on 5 May 2024.

1. ORGANISER - GENERAL INFORMATION

This competition is organised by RBFA vzw with registered office at 1020 Brussels, Marathonlaan 129 and with administrative headquarters at 1480 Tubize, Rue de Bruxelles 480, with company number 0403.543.160 (hereinafter referred to as “the organiser”), in collaboration with ING, ING Belgium (abbreviated “ING”), with registered office at 1000 Brussels, Marnixlaan 24, with company number 0403.200.393.

The regulations in paper version can also be requested in writing from the RBFA (Legal Department) at Rue de Bruxelles 480, 1480 Tubize. The applicant must enclose a stamped envelope with his name and address for sending the regulations.

With the exception of these regulations, no written or telephone information will be exchanged regarding this competition.

2. CONTEST - PRIZE - AWARDING OF THE PRIZE

Anyone who has a singing talent or believes they are a born musician can participate in this competition by registering via the form available on the website “www.wunderbar-band.be”; In addition, you will work in a creative and original way to make an audition video in which you show and show your singing or musician talent and stage talent when singing or playing an instrument of the song “Wunderbar”. To participate in this competition, simply register and upload your audition video - file size approximately 100Mb - on the appropriate indication in the form (with the usual upload procedure) as indicated on the website “www .wunderbar-band.be”. Minor participants (between 7 and 18 years old) must also have permission from parent or guardian. Minor participants (between 7 and 16 years) must upload the additional form provided, completed and signed by parent or guardian.

The participants must confirm that they are available and can be present for the rehearsal and live recording on 5 May 2024 in the ING ARENA in Miramarstraat, 1020 Brussels.

A jury (selected by the RBFA and ING) will watch, listen to and assess the audition videos of all timely and correct registrations. The jury will select the winners on the basis of singing talent (singing skills and voice quality) or musician talent, performance (emotion, “stage” presentation, connection with “audience”), creativity and originality (possibly your own interpretation of the song Wunderbar without detracting too much from the text / melody, original additions) taking into account the intended purpose, i.e. performing and singing as a band and choir for the “live” recording of the official European Championship song.

The jury professionally and independently assesses all correctly submitted audition videos; the jury selects the winners on the basis of singing or playing the instrument, voice or music, performance, creativity, originality in function of the purpose, in particular the performance of the official European Championship song during the recording on 5 May 2024 in the ING Arena in Brussels.

The jury's decision(s) are final and cannot be challenged.

After the competition, a maximum of 500 selected musician participants and a maximum of 1000 selected singer participants, who have indicated that they can and will definitely be present in Brussels on 5 May 2024 - full day - will be winners of this competition. They will also receive a free ticket to a home match of the Red Devils.

These selected participants win this “ Wunderbar band” competition and will all sing and perform the official European Championship song of the Red Devils “in choir” both during the rehearsal and the “live recording” on 5 May 2024. 

The winners will be contacted by email as provided by them.

3. DURATION - CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION

The competition runs from 15 February 2024 to 26 April 2024.

The competition is open to anyone who registers via the form provided, which must be completed in full and correctly uploads their video. All persons who participated in the organisation of the competition are excluded. Participation in this competition is free.

Participation is possible from the age of 7 (at the start of the competition) provided parental or guardian consent has been obtained (for those under 18 years of age). Minor participants (between 7 and 18 years old) must also have permission from parent or guardian. Minor participants (between 7 and 16 years) must upload the additional form provided, completed and signed by parent or guardian. 

To validly participate in the competition, follow the instructions via the social media channels of the RBFA and ING, the website www.wunderbar-band.be and/or the websites of the RBFA or ING.

Participation in the competition implies automatic, full and unconditional acceptance of these competition rules. Each Participant is assumed to have fully read, understood and accepted the contents of these regulations. Any breach of these competition rules will result in the exclusion of the offending participant .

Registration by post, fax, email or any other means of communication is not permitted.

Participation is only valid if the participant can be available and be present on 5 May 2024 in the ING Arena in Miramarstraat, 1020 Brussels.

Participation is only valid if all requested information has been entered correctly. Any participation that contains incorrect or incomplete information will be excluded and will not have a chance to win a prize.

For underage participants (between 7 and 16 years of age), the organiser must request and obtain permission from the FPS Employment, Labour and Social Dialogue. 

The organiser reserves the right to sanction any (attempted) fraud with immediate exclusion from this competition.

If a winner cannot be reached, a new winner will be selected. This is also the case if the winner does not respond within 48 hours.

The prize won is personal and non-transferable. Under no circumstances can it be exchanged for other products or services, nor for money.

Under no circumstances can it be assumed that the organiser would provide or award additional services or products - linked to a prize.

The organiser makes an independent assessment of whether the conditions of participation are complied with correctly. Exclusion decisions based on these rules are not subject to appeal and no correspondence will be entered into.

If a participant wins and it turns out that he or she does not or does not fully comply with the conditions of participation, including parental or guardian consent for minor participants and consent of FPS Employment, Labour and Social Dialogue, the participant automatically loses their right to the prize, without the possibility of compensation or any recourse.

The RBFA can directly or indirectly carry out all necessary checks to verify the capacity, identity and data of the participants, while respecting the privacy of the participants.

4. IDENTIFICATION

The identity of the participant is determined on the basis of the information provided by the latter.

Under no circumstances can the organiser be held liable if the identification of a participant is impossible because the latter provides incorrect or incomplete information.

The use of false data will lead to exclusion of the participant.

5. PERSONAL DATA

When registering and participating in the competition, the participant provides personal data to the organiser. The organiser processes these personal data in accordance with the GDPR and the legal provisions regarding the protection of natural persons in connection with the processing of personal data.

When participating in the competition, the participants and, if applicable, parent(s) / guardian, give their consent to the collection and processing of their personal data and to receive messages from the organiser in the context of participation in the competition, as well as their agreement to the privacy statement (https://www.rbfa.be/nl/privacy) and the competition regulations.

The person responsible for the processing of your personal data is the organiser, vzw RBFA.

The personal data referred to include name, first name, date of birth, e-mail address of the participant, mobile number of the participant, for the musicians which instrument they play, the video, If applicable, name and address of parent or guardian (minor participants), and possible other data that will be processed subsequently. This data is collected with the aim of ensuring the smooth running of the competition, in particular the possibility of assessing and contacting you regarding your participation, in order to arrange the prize efficiently. This data will be kept for as long as necessary to organise the competition. Data will not be passed on to third parties - with the exception of the jury and the agency appointed by the RBFA and ING responsible for the practical roll-out of this competition - nor to third countries.

The purely personal data will actually be deleted and will therefore no longer be kept until after the recording of the official European Championship song or until 10 May 2025.

Only if explicit permission has been given for the processing of personal data for marketing and communication purposes, personal data will be retained for a longer period.

The organiser can also use that data for direct marketing purposes. If you have given permission, you will receive newsletters and other commercial communications from the organiser and ING at the specified e-mail address. In particular, the participant gives permission to the organiser and ING to publish their surname and first name on its website and on the website www.wunderbar-band.be when announcing the winners. You can object to such use of your personal data at any time and/or withdraw this consent by sending an e-mail to the address stated in the newsletter.

Every participant has the right to access, change and rectify or delete his or her data. This right can be exercised by sending an email to the organiser at privacy@rbfa.be with a copy of the identity card as an attachment. If you request the complete or partial deletion of your data before the end of the competition, so that the organiser can no longer contact you, your participation may be declared invalid and you may lose all rights to any prize.

6. LIABILITY

If the organiser is forced to postpone, shorten or withdraw the competition or change the regulations, the organiser cannot be held liable for this in any way. The organiser reserves the right to modify or postpone, interrupt or terminate any aspect of this competition or its conduct if this would be justified by any force majeure circumstance or circumstances beyond its will or control, including by a court decision, without this giving rise to any liability on the part of the organiser or compensation for damages on the part of the participants or any third party.

The organiser is not responsible for any damage, accidents, death or injury of any kind that may occur as a result of participating in this competition, its organisation, designation of the winners and/or acceptance of the prize. The organiser cannot be held responsible or liable for any defect in the prize or if the prize does not meet the expectations created.

The organiser is not responsible for any technical defects or problems or interruptions that may hinder the course of the competition. Nor can the organiser be held liable for any incompatibility between the technology used for the competition and the hardware and/or software configuration used by the participant.

The organiser cannot be held liable for incorrect data entry, which would make it impossible to identify the participant.

7. RULES - PERMISSIONS IN THE CONTECT OF PARTICIPATION

Participation in the competition implies the unconditional acceptance of these regulations - available on the website www.wunderbar-band.be, and the decisions that the organiser and the jury will make in this regard.

All additional communications in connection with the competition apply as part of these regulations.

If necessary, the organiser can adjust these regulations.

These regulations will be announced as stated above and can be printed there if desired. It can also be obtained in writing as stated above in these regulations.

By participating in this competition, the participant expressly waives any right to the audition video. The participant expressly grants permission to the RBFA and its partners to freely use, copy, process or reproduce the audition video, in whole or in part, for the production of content on their own channels, without any compensation being owed or claimed for this. can become.

The participant expressly acknowledges and unconditionally accepts that any use of the audition video by the RBFA or its partners in the context of a promotional campaign can in no way be regarded as a selection by the jury as a winner.

By participating in this competition, the participant also expressly and unconditionally waives any right to the recorded European Championship song of the Red Devils and/or the final version thereof.

By participating in this competition, the participant unconditionally acknowledges and accepts that he/she - if selected - will potentially be featured during the recording day on 5 May 2024. The participant - and, if necessary, the parent(s) or guardian - grants unconditional and explicit permission that these images may be used by the RBFA and/or its partners, without any compensation being due.

8. SUPERVISION OF THE COMPETITION - DECISIONS - COMPLAINTS

The organiser monitors the correct conduct of the competition.

If all conditions of the regulations are not met or in the event of abuse, deception or fraud, the organiser expressly reserves the right to immediately exclude the participant(s) concerned from participation in this competition or to demand the return of to request the price while retaining the right to compensation for damage suffered.

The results of this competition and the decision of the organiser regarding the determination of the winners are binding, irrevocable and cannot be challenged.

The organiser reserves the right to investigate any complaint regarding this competition. Its decisions are final and cannot be appealed.

Complaints regarding this competition must be sent in writing to the following address at the latest within 15 working days after the end of the competition: RBFA - legal@rbfa.be, Rue de Bruxelles 480, 1480 Tubize. Under no circumstances will complaints be handled verbally or by telephone. Complaints sent after the aforementioned period or that have not been drawn up in writing will not be processed.

This competition is governed by Belgian law. In the event of disputes, the courts of Brussels have exclusive jurisdiction.
